Hey there!
Hello…I’m Nouman!
I am a pracademic at the Rotman School of Management within the University of Toronto. I’m fascinated by leadership that enables impactful practices across organizational contexts. My expertise lies at the intersection of organizational culture, inclusion and strategy.

I believe that leadership work is people work, and that we must engage with others to achieve a more inclusive, sustainable and purpose-driven future.
I think these ideas are worth spreading.

(He/Him)
Daniel holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management. He has worked as the Deputy Director of Economic Inclusion for the largest regional chamber of commerce in New York., There he implemented initiatives that helped the organization’s business membership identify and act on opportunities and barriers to creating a more diverse and inclusive culture. He also leads evaluation and resource development for the Build from Within Alliance.
I believe collaboration leads to impact.

I think my collaborators are the kindest.
“In the planning stages, Nouman is the ultimate collaborator and partner. His curiosity about and responsiveness to our organizational culture, needs and objectives enables him to tailor his sessions to really resonate with the audience. Nouman’s style as a speaker is refreshing, inspirational and approachable. He is enthusiastic and insightful and connects quickly with attendees (regardless of the size of the audience). Nouman is by far the most impactful presenter I have ever heard on the topics of inclusive leadership, cultural fluency and inclusion. He is passionate about his work and his speaking engagements. I consider it a privilege to work with him."
— Emily Atkinson, Head of Lawyer Development & Alumni Relations, Torys LLP
“Through very insightful and at times very creative means, Nouman effectively communicated your knowledge and engaged with team members. He has shared and transferred both strategic as well as practical and interpersonal tactics and tools that our leadership team can use to support and promote innovative, creative and critical thinking and expression in a safe work environment where this is encouraged and valued.”
— John Malloy, Director of Education, Toronto District School Board
“At a time of major organizational change in our organization, Nouman provided thoughtful guidance and counsel to our board and our grant review team chairs, which was critical to ensuring good governance at the community and provincial level. As we prepared for a significant strategy shift, having the opportunity for directors and advisors to explore how they can meaningfully discharge their roles and responsibilities to achieve greater public benefit was a key success factor. Nouman was an engaging and dynamic facilitator who was able to connect with people from very diverse backgrounds and experiences.”
— Andrea Barrack, Global Head - Sustainability & Corporate Citizenship, TD Bank Group
“Nouman is a thinker with real insight into how we can grow ideas, build linkages and thus develop symbiotic initiatives in our work. Nouman has helped me to think creatively, to see more possiblibites and to imagine new ways to build and grow opportutnities. He is a impressive collaborator and a great resource and guide for collegues and friends.”
— Jane Price, Director, Education and Development Branch, Ministry of the Attorney General, Ontario
I believe that to be an inclusive leader is to be an impactful leader, and that begins by creating and holding space for people to share their stories and to amplify them.
